Dr. Marc Asquith brings more than two decades of leadership and mentorship to the world of athletics and education. With 24 years in secondary education and 22 years coaching varsity-level softball and baseball, he has left a lasting impact on student-athletes both on and off the field. From 2011 to 2021, he served as the head softball coach at Winnetonka High School, building a program rooted in fundamentals, discipline, and fun.

Dr. Asquith’s coaching journey moved to include youth club softball when his oldest daughter began the sport at the age of 9, his daughter Samantha will begin her collegiate softball career this fall. His youngest daughter also plays as part of the Kr Diamonds. His dedication to developing not only skilled athletes but also strong individuals earned him the prestigious Blue KC and Royals Coaches with Character Award in 2018.

As a founding coach and manager of Team KC, Dr. Asquith helped shape a competitive and inclusive culture for youth athletes.

Today, he serves as President of Kansas City Fastpitch, continuing his mission to grow the game and foster a love for softball. His passion lies in blending high-level fundamentals with a positive, energetic environment—empowering athletes to succeed on the field and in life.
