Board Member
Casey began her career coaching youth softball in 2004 before transitioning into event management in 2005 with the Heartland Youth Foundation and USA Softball. She currently serves as an Allied Member of the USA Softball Council, where she advocates at the national level for athlete development and coach support initiatives.
As Manager of Sport Development for the Kansas City Royals, Casey oversees all softball operations within the Royals Amateur Development System. In this role, she leads strategic efforts to advance the growth of softball across the Kansas City community, with a focus on athlete development and coaching education.
Through her leadership position, Casey will serve as the Youth Player Representative on the Kansas City Fastpitch Board, further strengthening the alignment between professional, collegiate, and youth development pathways.
Casey resides in Blue Springs with her husband and their two children—Taylor, a student-athlete at the University of Maryland, and Peter, a high school junior with a bright future. Her commitment to growing the game and creating positive, lasting experiences for athletes makes her a valuable leader on the Kansas City Fastpitch board.
